Spirited AND Shy!

I am a BBW who is seeking honesty and sincerity for friendship and a possible long term relationship. I am divorced and though many of my friends are skeptical of internet personals, I don't hang out in bars or clubs, so this seems like a good way to at least see who is out there. I am optimistic, considered pretty and am on early retirement. Although I would be fine alone, I like having someone to share my life with. I am a comfortable person to be around and am looking for the same with someone who is articulate and intelligent, with no drama or tension. I am a breast cancer patient. I realize it will take a special man to find their way to me. Please feel free to ask any questions.

Insights
Describe the perfect evening.
Cuddled on the couch watching a movie with a fire in the fireplace OR at a casino OR a walk in the twilight. As long as you are happy, it doesn't matter what you are doing.
Describe your perfect weekend.
Hopping a quick flight to Las Vegas; going to the zoo; cuddling on Sunday morning (sleeping in late); hanging out.
Do you believe in love at first sight?
I do, but past experiences have taught me to be cautious. I fall hard, then find out they're married or living with someone. Not cool. Much less trusting right up front now.
How many kids would you like to have?
I wanted children but cannot now. It would not bother me if my partner had children of any age.
How important is someone's physical appearance to you?
Not very. I don't have a type.
If you could have one super power, what would it be and why?
If I were being altruistic, I would love the ability to eliminate cancer from which both of my parents died. Selfishly, I'd love to be able to fly. No airfare!
What is the purpose of marriage?
It's the ultimate vow but taken too lightly.
What is the most important lesson that you've learned?
To be myself. I will not change who I am to be with someone. That doesn't mean I won't try something new or learn what you are all about, it just means I is me. LOL
What do your friends like about you most?
Honesty, humor, empathy.
What do your friends tease you about the most?
My romantic life! It's been a doozy.
What gets on your nerves?
Negativity. Apathy.
What is the most important thing in a relationship?
Honest, humor, integrity.
What's the best age to get married?
There is no best age; when the time is right, it's right.
What turns you off?
Slobbiness, smoking, someone loud and aggressive. Egotistical.
What turns you on?
Intelligence, warmth, the ability to laugh.
What do you hope to be doing five years from now?
The same thing I am doing now, but possibly with someone. Though if I am alone, I will be fine. You have to be complete in yourself before you can add to someone else's life.
