Once upon a time there was a mostly normal divorced woman with some kids still living at home. She tried and tried but met with no success in finding a nice guy to settle down with. It was not as if she was not looking for men, or did not meet any when she left the house to venture into the forest, but she found the forest full of wolves and wild boars, a dangerous place for a reasonably nice girl to be all alone. So, she built a computer, got herself some high speed access and decided to look while staying safely in her own home, rather than to wander far afield in hunt of God only know what. This story needs a happily ever after, don't you think?I love the opera, my family, music, reading, cooking, chess, scrabble, movies, I like to stay at home and have fun. I am very witty and never dull. I do love my shoes. Dancing is fine, I will if nicely asked. I love trips to the museum, or anywhere that challenges the mind. I am not crazy, well, maybe just a bit, enough to make life interesting. No presenting personality disorders, no pathological gambling, no manias, no paraphilias, no wild unpredictable mood swings. Just a few garden variety neurosis. Love Star Trek. I have a weakness for smart men, there is more to life than sex, and it's nice to be able to talk to someone. Looking For: I have terrible luck with musicians, despite my affinity for them and the common interests shared. I am very outgoing and 100% honest about what I think on any subject. There will be no holding back, when I need to say something, I do it. If you don't want honesty, run away now. I ask for the same, and prefer not to date bad boys, addicts and cheaters. Sense of humor and wit are my favorite characteristics in men. If you are looking for a quick conquest, or casual sex, these things will not be found with me. I am a female. I can get these things anywhere. I am seeking a more concrete emotional connection with someone. I do not seek to be exclusionary, but since I have children, and I am an example to them, I am looking for someone over 35 at the very least. My kids do not need to view their mom as a woman searching for some "boy toy," nor do I wish to do so.
